About the Role
Our client, a reputable motor dealership based in Northcliff, is seeking a professional and well-organized F&I (Finance & Insurance) Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will support the Finance & Insurance department with administrative duties, customer liaison and the processing of vehicle finance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance & Insurance Manager with daily administrative tasks
- Process and submit vehicle finance applications to various banks
- Liaise with different financial institutions regarding application statuses
- Obtain settlement letters from banks and financial institutions
- Ensure all finance documentation is completed accurately and filed correctly
- Assist with preparing deal files and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Follow up on outstanding documentation from customers and banks
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner regarding finance processes
- Maintain accurate records of finance transactions and documentation
- Support the F&I department in ensuring smooth and efficient deal processing
Requirements
- Fully proficient in English (spoken and written)
- No criminal record
- Previous experience in a dealership or finance administrative environment will be advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Computer literate and administratively strong
- Professional and well-presented with good customer service skills
Qualifications
- F&I certification is not required, but experience in dealership administration or finance assistance will be beneficial
