About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie for a luxury safari lodge in the North West, where we invite a skilled chef with a passion for creating high-quality cuisine to join our team. This live-in position offers the ideal opportunity to work in a fast-paced, luxury lodge environment and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present dishes according to the lodge’s menu and food standards
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all food served
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Assist with stock management, ordering, and rotation of ingredients
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including correct use of kitchen equipment and chemicals
  • Support training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff when required
  • Assist with banquets, special events, and game drive catering as needed

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury lodge, hotel, or high-end hospitality environment

Strong culinary skills, including knowledge of hot and cold kitchen sections

Excellent organisational and time-management abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles
