About the Opportunity

Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency? Our client, a growing food manufacturing company specializing in granola and snack bars, is looking for a Stock Controller to join their team.

This role is all about making sure the right stock is available at the right time keeping production moving smoothly, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Youll work closely with production, warehouse, and compliance teams, becoming a key link in their supply chain success.

What Youll Be Doing

* *Keep it accurate:* Manage and monitor raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using an ERP system (Pastel Evolution).
* *Stay on top of counts:* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts, investigating and resolving variances.
* *Support production:* Issue stock to production, reconcile usage, and forecast material requirements.
* *Compliance matters:* Ensure FIFO/FEFO stock rotation, allergen control, and support audits (HACCP, FSSC 22000).
* *Be the go-to person:* Generate reports, assist with cost analysis, and maintain traceability records.

What Were Looking For

* *Qualifications:* Matric required; a Diploma in Supply Chain/Warehouse Management is an advantage.
* *Experience:* 35 years in stock control, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing.
* *Systems knowledge:* Experience with ERP (SAP, Syspro, Sage, or similar) and advanced Excel.
* *Skills:* Strong numerical ability, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills.
