About the Role
Zimele Broadcasting Services, a leading reseller and distributor of broadcast technology, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key player in our business mandate, you will be responsible for selling complex technical solutions to clients across various industries. With a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure sales environments, we are looking for an individual who can drive results and grow our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit sales proposals, presentations to clients
- Negotiate prices and close sales contracts
- Identify new business opportunities
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings and services
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions
- Explain technical concepts to clients
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technology products
- Travel to clients’ locations for meetings and product presentations and demonstrations
- Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and purchase orders
- Generate performance monthly reports
Requirements
- Grade 12 certification (required)
- Technical or IT Diploma (an added advantage)
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure in a dynamic and result-oriented environment
- Project management skills
- Strong communication and information management skills
