About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Supervisor to join their team in Richard’s Bay. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas operations and maintenance, as well as leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of gas technicians and other staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of gas distribution systems
  • Inspect gas distribution systems and equipment regularly to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs
  • Develop and implement plans and procedures to optimize gas system performance and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Monitor gas usage and supply levels to forecast demand and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate supply
  • Investigate and respond to gas leaks, emergencies, and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas operations, maintenance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of gas distribution systems, safety regulations, and industry best practices
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in gas operations preferred
