Rustenburg: Farm Electrician

Requirements: Good knowledge of designing and reading electrical drawings in order to do fault finding Understand the principles of refrigeration and cooling systems (experience would be beneficial) As an Artisan, be production-orientated Knowledge of generators Familiarity with management principles and job card systems Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Driver’s license & own transport required Grade 12 Qualified (Red Seal Certificate) Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and needs for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance Test electrical systems and the continuity of circuit in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures Run electronic test and inspections Conduct maintenance stock takes of maintenance spares and ensure that there is enough stock on hand Monitor and check setters and hatchers for proper operation Monitor and check ventilation (i.e. heaters, coolers and inside room conditions) Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on hatchery equipment Attend to all electrical faults on hatchery setter and incubator machines Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools
