About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Manager to join our client’s team in Rustenburg. In this key role, you will oversee the quality assurance processes, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, document, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
- Manage internal defect processes and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements within the plant.
- Support FSSC 22000 certification and maintain relevant process control documents.
- Define the scope of the FSMS, specifying products, product categories, and processes.
- Identify, evaluate, and control expected food safety hazards.
- Facilitate communication throughout the food supply chain regarding safety issues and updates to the FSMS.
- Periodically evaluate and update the FSMS to reflect current activities and food safety hazards.
- Manage control over outsourced processes affecting product conformity.
- Oversee documentation requirements, including document control and record management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Food Safety & Quality Manager in an FMCG environment.
- Previous experience in a food production setting.
- Experience in QA systems monitoring and evaluation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Proven track record of overseeing day-to-day compliance and food safety.
- Experience in leading food safety and quality teams and conducting meetings.
- Skills in quality control analysis, internal audits, and SOP documentation.
