About the Role
Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently looking for Junior and Semi-Senior Articled Clerks to join an accounting firm in Gauteng. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are pursuing their accounting qualification and looking to gain practical experience in a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements
- Perform various accounting and auditing procedures under the guidance of senior professionals
- Contribute to the overall success of the team and firm
- Participate in client meetings and interactions
- Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations
Requirements
- Junior Articled Clerks:
- Completed or at least in the second year of a SAICA-accredited BCom Accounting Science degree, with progression to third-year subjects.
- Strong work ethic, adept time management, and driven by targets and deadlines.
- Demonstrated passion for numbers and a commitment to pursuing the CA route, understanding the challenges and rewards it entails.
- Articles duration: 3 years with a degree, 5 years without.
- Semi-Senior Articled Clerks:
- Completion of degree and engagement in CTA or Boards.
- Minimum one year of dedicated audit experience.
