About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer to join their client’s team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance applications, solving complex problems, and collaborating with other engineers to create innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse needs and generate specifications.
- Design and implement software applications (coding).
- Test, review, and deliver applications within QMS.
- Maintain existing software by updating and fixing bugs; document changes accordingly.
- Update data packs and/or software release versions.
- Support production and service personnel as required.
- Ensure appropriate version control.
- Adhere to processes necessary for maintaining Medical Device Certification.
- Provide inputs to technical documentation as needed.
- Lead and manage development tasks and projects.
Requirements
- Grade 12 – Mandatory
- BSc or BEng in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Preference for candidates with formal education in mathematics up to the 3rd year level.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in programming with C++, C, C#, and Visual Studio.
