About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to manage and oversee multi-entity financial portfolios. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment-related accounting, with a track record of delivering strategic insights to support business growth and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor portfolio performance, including asset management, investment allocations, and fund reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a finance team to deliver high-quality financial outputs.
- Drive process improvements and system optimizations for financial reporting and portfolio management.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- B.Compt, B.Com (Accounting/Finance) or equivalent; CA(SA) designation preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 8–12 years’ experience in financial management, auditing, or investment/portfolio reporting.
- Proven experience in multi-entity financial reporting, consolidation, and management accounts.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Caseware, or similar).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
