Duties will include: Onsite and Remote Technical Support Working with clients directly as well as within the NOC Working primarily with SME customers Supporting Desktop, Managed Services and Networks Ability to work with others in a team and escalate when necessary Office hours are Monday-Friday 08h00-17h00 A tip if you would like your application to stand out – all we want in your cover note is to see that you are truly passionate about IT. Requirements Matric Drivers License Own Reliable Car (all business travel is reimbursed on a per km basis) Strong problem solving ability and ability to think clearly under pressure Must have a genuine passion and interest in technology and computing Must have a good practical understanding of desktop support and basic networking concepts Advantageous Relevant IT Certifications are beneficial, but not an absolute requirement either OS X and Linux experience Windows Server Operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP – with the ability to understand and resolve incidents from event logs Proxmox Virtualisation, Hyper-V, Vmware ESXI Networking, routing, gateways and VLANs Ability to diagnose network connection issues, permissions, file shares, SMB, FTP as well as network printing Mikrotik and Cisco Office 365, Exchange and Outlook
