About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Elchemie, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth through both once-off projects and long-term service contracts. You will leverage existing client relationships to generate immediate sales opportunities and develop strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities for equipment and on-site services.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients within your portfolio.

- Expand footprint beyond traditional markets into new industries.
- Attend industry events, expos, and networking platforms.

Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or technical sales within Engineering, Mining, Oil & Gas, or Industrial services.
- Established network within relevant industries is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment and/or on-site services.
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and grow revenue.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, relevant experience in business development or technical sales is essential.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R40,000 CTC plus commission structure based on proven experience.
