About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a Junior Site Agent/Engineer to join our team in Sandton. As a key member of our construction industry client’s project management team, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of construction projects
Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
Assist in the management of project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks
Assist in resolving any issues or delays that may arise during construction
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records
Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Valid driver’s license
