Sandton: Project Manager – Energy and Infrastructure

Duties and Responsibilities: Develop detailed project execution plans for to ensure successful delivery of projects. Work collaboratively with the Client and the team. Manage and coordinate the integration of technical activities to enable the company to achieve its objectives. Ensure projects deliverables comply with design standards, legal regulations, environmental standards, and necessary permits. Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies. Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including governments, local communities, suppliers, contractors, and team members. Ensure a quality service is delivered to clients. Implement quality control measures to ensure project standards and performance objectives are met. Oversee and report on the projects progress to senior management and stakeholders. Technical knowledge in the energy and infrastructure field. Ability to consult with others to develop the level of knowledge required for the role. Utilises the companys knowledge network to adopt best practices in approach to work. Have a good understanding of Construction of projects. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, construction management, project management, or a related field. A master’s degree can enhance qualifications. Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), SACPCMP or Accredited Professional.
