Job Description

A well-established organisation in the Eastern Cape is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Accountant/Accounting Manager to oversee core financial operations and lead a dedicated team. This hands-on role requires a blend of technical accounting expertise and strong management skills to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the financial function, with a strong focus on fixed assets, accounts payable, and cash management.

If you thrive in a dynamic environment, are an excellent problem-solver, and can effectively communicate complex financial information to both finance and operational teams then this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Fixed Asset Management
Accounts Payable (AP) Oversight
Cashbook & Treasury Operations
Drive the month-end and year-end close processes, prepare supporting schedules, and assist with the production of reliable management accounts and financial statements.
Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team (likely a team of 3-8 staff), fostering accountability, professional growth, and effective teamwork.
Process Improvement & Compliance

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education – BCOM
Experience – 3-5 Years experience
3 years Management Experience
