About the Role
The Export & Production Coordinator role at CA Support involves managing international client relationships, processing export orders, and coordinating shipments with freight forwarders. This position also requires planning and managing the bottling programme, scheduling production, and conducting quality checks during bottling. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for procurement, stock control, administration, and compliance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage international client relationships and communication
- Process export orders from receipt to shipment
- Prepare and manage export documentation and compliance (SARS, DAFF, Wine Online)
- Liaise with freight forwarders and coordinate shipments
- Handle export certifications and sample dispatch
- Plan and manage the bottling programme in line with forecasts
- Schedule production and coordinate with bottling/cellar teams
- Conduct quality checks during bottling
- Procure dry goods (bottles, labels, closures, cartons)
- Forecast requirements and manage supplier relationships
- Monitor stock levels and conduct regular counts
- Approve label layouts and ensure export compliance
- Maintain licenses and registrations (e.g. SAWIS, FDA)
- Manage SAWIS documentation and certifications
- Assist with budgeting and forecasts
- Reconcile excise and bonded stock monthly
Requirements
- Matric (tertiary qualification advantageous)
- 3–5 years’ experience in the SA wine industry
- Experience in exports, logistics, and production planning
- Strong knowledge of SAWIS, Wine Online & SARS regulations
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience beneficial
