About the Role

Our Client is seeking an experienced and skilled Boat Captain to operate a 12-meter (40-foot) yacht for offshore excursions. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in maritime operations, and be able to ensure safe and smooth voyages while delivering exceptional experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Navigate and operate the yacht for offshore excursions, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct both daytime and nighttime boat operations.
  • Travel up to 25 nautical miles offshore with confidence and expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with all maritime safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Assist with guest services, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust itineraries accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and reports.

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial or Offshore Captains License.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating yachts, preferably in tourism or scuba diving industries.
  • Must have expertise navigating Saudi waters.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
  • Certified in Advanced Skipper or Powerboat License.
  • Health & Safety Certification is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of maritime safety procedures and navigation systems.
