Camp Coordinator. Guide Training Institution based in Nelspruit is seeking a Camp Coordinator for a guide training Camp in one of the Game Reserve Greater KNP – Mpumalanga An exciting and dynamic role exists within the organization for someone with high energy levels, a pragmatic view to life, fancy working in nature and have previous experience in the hospitality/lodge/tour operator/nature/conservation environment. The role of Camp Coordinator requires the individual to live the mission, vision and values of the organization. The primary purpose of the job is to coordinate the communication, administration, kitchen, camp and course activities in the Camp. Areas of responsibility are: Understanding the Concessions and Reserve Rules and Regulations and make sure that Instructors, students and visitors sign the Code of Conduct and Reserve Rules. Handle the official communication in camp. Camp Phone and e-mails. Pre-course preparation Course Listings, Paperwork, Welcome Letters, Room Allocation, Food Orders and Menu preparation. Guest arrival, feedback forms, stock and cash control. Camp and Guest Administration, processing, invoicing, filing and paperwork. Supervising Housekeeping and Kitchen Staff The compliance to Legal and Regulatory Requirements with regards to Insurance, Health and Safety. Experience Required: – Matric Certificate, applicable tertiary qualification will be advantageous. The candidate would need a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Safari, Lodge or Hospitality Industry. Excellent personal skills with both staff and students. Excellent organizational, logistic and administration skills Computer literate Valid drivers license Excellent track record with references.
