About the Role
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Representative to support revenue growth through effective client management, stock collections, and ongoing supplier engagement within the catalytic converter department. This role is primarily focused on maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating collections, and ensuring consistent supply through regular engagement and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing catalytic converter suppliers and clients.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure ongoing supply, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries, pricing discussions, and service-related matters.
- Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally to sustain strong working relationships.
- Promote trust, reliability, and consistency in all client interactions.
- Coordinate and manage catalytic converter collections from client locations.
- Liaise with drivers, warehouse, and operations teams to schedule and execute collections efficiently.
- Verify stock details, quantities, and client documentation prior to collection.
- Attend key or high-volume client collections to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication between clients, logistics, and finance teams.
- Support revenue targets through consistent supply from existing clients and targeted account growth.
- Identify opportunities to increase volumes and strengthen account performance.
- Assist with pricing discussions and quotation preparation in line with company policies.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations and pending transactions.
- Encourage continued business through proactive engagement and service delivery.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or related (advantageous)
