Job Description

??? ??????????? ??????????? is partnering with a prestigious private estate in the Bahamas to recruit an experienced and highly hands-on ????? ?????? & ?????????? ??????? to oversee all technical, marine, and facilities operations across a large, complex property. This senior role is suited to a technically strong and solutions-driven professional with a solid marine engineering background and proven experience managing infrastructure, vessels, and maintenance teams within a remote island or tropical environment. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the reliability, safety, and preventative maintenance of all estate systems, assets, and equipment. The position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working across both front- and back-of-house environments, managing multiple residential and operational buildings, marine assets, dock systems, and a fleet of vehicles. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan and execute preventative maintenance programmes are essential. Requirements: Minimum of 8 plus years experience in engineering roles within private estates, marine, yachting, or similar high-end resort environments Strong marine engineering experience is essential Relevant technical certifications or licenses preferred Proven experience leading and managing technical teams Highly hands-on, adaptable, and solutions focused, with the ability to operate effectively in a remote and logistically challenging environment Key Responsibilities Full oversight of estate infrastructure, marina, and technical systems Development and implementation of comprehensive preventative maintenance programes Management and maintenance of HVAC, generators, electrical, plumbing, water treatment and RO plants, sewage, and irrigation systems Oversight of all marine assets, including boats, dock systems, lifts, fueling systems, and shoreline power Maintenance of estate vehicles and technical equipment Supervision and leadership of maintenance staff, with coordination of external contractors where required Preparation and management of maintenance budgets and capital expenditure planning Accurate record keeping, logs, and compliance documentation Ensuring full health, safety, and environmental compliance across the estate Salary Market Related PLEASE NOTE Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
