About the Role
As a CNC Miller at Recruitpro Solutions, you will be responsible for taking shared ownership of milling processes design and execution. You will work closely with our team to produce high-precision components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently reading technical drawings and work instructions to correctly set up and configure 5-axis machining centres.
- Producing complex, high-precision components — frequently prototypes or small series — to exacting tolerances.
- Carrying out in-process quality controls throughout production.
- Managing microplanning on the machine, ensuring efficient and effective use of tooling and materials.
- Providing constructive feedback to programmers upon job completion, identifying what worked well and where improvements can be made.
- Conducting root cause analysis when quality issues arise and actively contributing to preventive solutions and continuous improvement.
- Working within a 5-shift (2-2-1) rotation pattern covering early day, late day, and night shifts.
Requirements
- Broad, demonstrable experience as a CNC Machinist within the precision engineering industry.
- Proven ability to independently read and interpret complex technical engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with measuring tools and in-process inspection techniques.
- Strong, demonstrable experience operating 5-axis machining centres.
- Experience with Siemens CNC control systems.
