Job Description

About the Role

Our client in the Mining Industry is seeking a seasoned manager to join their dedicated Service Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, plans, processes, and governance required to operate a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSI) portfolio/project. This individual will also serve as the corporate social responsibility contact point for all CSR-related subjects, including client inquiries, gathering and reporting, CSR activities, and media announcements and communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage social responsibility policies

• Utilize internal communication to reinforce company’s social responsibility policies

• Reach out to the public via PR and marketing to deliver the message of the company’s commitment to social responsibility

• Work with the individual Site locations to support and deploy Corporate Social Responsibility programs and ensure adherence to labor, ethics, human rights, and environment requirements

• Manage and execute the CSR Strategy

• Create internal and external communications

• Develop volunteer activities

• Manage working groups charged with developing and implementing CSR initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 5-8 years of experience operating at a strategic level

• Delivering Corporate Social Responsibilities initiatives, leading continuous improvement activities

• Project management skills would be extremely beneficial

• Experience in raising money to support initiatives is critical

• Experience working for an NGO/NPO would be beneficial

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree
