An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Lead to join a dynamic and innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the cybersecurity strategy and operations, ensuring the organization’s digital assets and infrastructure are secure against evolving threats.
This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in cybersecurity and demonstrated management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of security tools, systems, and protocols to safeguard critical assets.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Manage the response to security incidents, ensuring swift resolution and thorough documentation for continuous improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Stay updated on emerging security technologies and industry trends to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all business operations and technology projects.
- Liaise with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and effective security practices.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar standards.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to and resolve security incidents promptly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly advantageous.
