Job Description
And at the heart of it all? Data. Real, messy, high-volume data that needs a master to tame it.
If your Databricks notebooks read like poetry, your PySpark jobs run cleaner than a fresh commit, and your Delta Lake sings in three-part harmony – we want to hear from you.
Right now, we’re hunting for a Databricks Data Engineer who can turn data chaos into something scalable, automated, and genuinely elegant.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and optimizing data pipelines that crunch millions of records – fast.
- Architecting Delta Lake layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold) that make analytics teams smile.
- Integrating Databricks with cloud-native stacks (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Automating workflows, testing relentlessly, and tuning clusters like a performance car.
- Applying governance and compliance principles (Unity Catalog, access control).
What You Bring
- Databricks Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with clusters, jobs, and notebooks.
- Languages: Python (PySpark) and SQL fluency that borders on artistry.
- Big Data Know-how: Strong grasp of Spark fundamentals – RDDs, DataFrames, and distributed computing.
- Data Modeling: You’ve built star/snowflake schemas and understand the Medallion Architecture.
- DataOps Skills: Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD for data workflows.
- Bonus points for financial data experience or work in regulated environments.
