About the Role
Our client in the Telecoms Industry is seeking an experienced Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, project management, and leadership, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
• Understanding business requirements, business systems and process context, impact, and risks
• Participating in, planning/strategy sessions, reporting
• Interfacing to other teams where required
• Interfacing to external clients, vendors where required
• Management of activities within the overall team
• Participating and enabling the business Prioritisation process
• Scheduling and prioritisation of tasks and resources by approval by executives
• Coordinate: Build, Test, Deliver, Fix, Change Requests
Requirements
• 8 years Systems Development experience
• 5 years relevant experience managing a software development team for large commercial entities, or demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Exposure in driving key strategic initiatives
Qualifications
• BSc in Computer Sciences/ Information Systems or equivalent IT tertiary qualification
• Applicable Management Development courses would be advantageous
