Position: Executive Head Chef
Job Description: This Ultra Deluxe Lodge is seeking an innovative and dynamic Executive Head Chef to join its esteemed team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a proven track record in high-end Culinary Cuisine. As the Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a fine dining experience that complements the guests’ extraordinary gorilla tracking adventures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Design and develop seasonal menus that highlight local and international cuisine, catering to the tastes and preferences of our diverse clientele.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Manage food inventory, sourcing, and procurement, ensuring the use of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
- Implement and maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the lodge management team to create memorable dining experiences that enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and overall kitchen expenses to achieve budgetary goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel, lodge, or fine dining establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional creativity and a passion for culinary innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a remote and challenging environment.
- Knowledge of diverse international cuisines and dietary preferences.
Remuneration and Benefits:
