Finance Assistant and Stock Controller: Kuzuko Lodge About Kuzuko Kuzuko is a Private Game Reserve and Five Star Lodge in the Eastern Cape. Kuzuko was established as a social enterprise with the aim of creating jobs in an area of high unemployment whilst also rewilding and restoring the land. Social upliftment is a key part of the Kuzukos mission statement and the lodge is seeking to appoint a candidate who shares this ethos. Financial Assistant and Stock Controller Kuzuko Lodge We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant and Stock Controller join our team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recording of sales/purchases transactions and cash receipts/disbursements transactions into accounting software 2. Procurement of goods and services 3. Capturing of goods received into stock 4. Performing monthly stock taking and variance analysis 5. Receiving stock and fulfilling internal stock issue and transfer requests 6. Administrative support across organization 7. Compile weekly status report for workshop 8. Cash Up analysis and cash reconciliations 9. Logistical planning and support for remote lodge operation 10. Support external audits by providing documentation required 11. Work closely with the Financial Controller and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations 12. Occasional additional duties including driving stock runs and assisting with wider lodge operations Requirements: 1. Accounting Diploma or minimum 5 years experience in bookkeeping 2. Good understanding of Bookkeeping principles 3. Knowledge of Semper and Xero or similar accounting and PMS software 4. Excellent Computer & Excell Skills 5. Strong understanding of stock control principles and excellent attention to detail 6. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 7. Strong work ethics and team player 8.
