About the Role
Zeebra Junction Specialist Recruitment is seeking a young, dynamic, and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead their culinary and hospitality operations at their Safari Lodge and Spa in Zambia. As a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing revenue and maintaining cost efficiency, you will oversee all aspects of their food and beverage departments, including restaurants/bars, room service, and banquets/catering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage financial, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction plans and actions for Food and Beverage departments.
- Maintain a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations.
- Supervise and manage employees, ensuring all day-to-day operations run smoothly.
- Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing service.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests and respond quickly and proactively to their concerns.
- Drive alignment of all employees, team leaders, and managers to the brand’s service culture.
- Manage day-to-day operations, drive quality, and verify standards are meeting the expectations of customers on a daily basis.
- Conduct performance reviews in a timely manner and identify developmental needs of employees.
- Comply with all corporate accounting procedures and provide necessary information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma from an accredited university/ College in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 5 years of experience in the aforementioned areas.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proven track record of managing financial resources and budgets effectively.
- Ability to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategic plans to drive business results.
- Understanding of market dynamics and business principles.
- Prior experience in managing and conducting human resource activities is preferred.
- Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications

Salary & Benefits
Salary: Very Competitive Monthly Salary (Negotiable paid in US$ )

Annual return Air tickets provided to point of origin congruent to leave cycle.
Air tickets to point of origin at start and end of contracted work period provide by company.
