Location: Addo, Eastern Cape

Job Description:

We`re looking for a seasoned General Manager with a passion for Food and Beverage hospitality to oversee the lodge Food and Beverage operation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team, driving revenue growth, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction levels.

Minimum Qualification

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in a Food & Beverage managerial role with some rooms experience within a lodge
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations
  • Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written, good communication skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 100% Guest focused
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong attention to detail and able prioritise effectively
  • Train and deliver world class international service standard

Computer Literacy:

  • MS Office Suite
  • TallOrder and Nightsbridge (Would be advantageous)

Key

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all food and beverage operations to ensure quality and consistency, including the kitchen
  • Work with the head chef to maintain food quality and presentation, ensuring all meals are checked and recipes are followed
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting to maximize profitability.
  • Set par levels for all stock, control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Develop and maintain high standards for service and customer experience in a fine dining environment
  • Train food and beverage team to deliver outstanding service
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all areas of the lodge
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently
  • Oversee and assist other departments in the lodge to ensure seamless guest experiences
