Job Summary
? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is assisting a Luxury Safari Company with multiple Lodges in Namibia to recruit an energetic and creative ????? ????????? ???? to join their team
The Group Executive Chef will oversee the culinary operations of seven luxury safari camps, leading and inspiring a talented team while creating unforgettable dining experiences in one of Namibias most celebrated destinations. This live-in leadership role requires a strong 5-star hospitality background, a passion for seasonal, innovative menus, and the ability to maintain the highest standards across multiple kitchens. Preference will be given to Namibian chefs, and candidates must be comfortable living and working in a remote environment. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional cuisine, developing your team, and ensuring consistent excellence in every guest experience.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience as a senior chef in a high-end 5* lodge, overseeing multiple outlets
Culinary diploma from a reputable chef academy (highly advantageous)
Proven expertise in diverse cuisines and modern cooking techniques, with excellent guest interaction and hosting skills
Strong ability to manage all kitchen operations, including staff supervision, HACCP compliance, stock control, and budgeting
Creative flair with exceptional menu development skills, strong leadership, and excellent interpersonal abilities
Hands-on approach with the ability to train, inspire, and motivate a diverse team
Previous experience living and working in a remote location (highly advantageous)
Solid track record with contactable references
Willingness to attend a 2-day on-site interview
