? Oracle Finance Functional Consultant
? Location: Johannesburg

A leading enterprise consulting environment is seeking a highly capable Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to join a dynamic ERP project team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with deep Oracle ERP expertise and a passion for delivering value-driven solutions to clients

? Key Responsibilities

Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle ERP solutions.
Configure and implement Oracle Financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, and related subledgers.
Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and support customizations, reports, and integrations.
Drive full project lifecycle activities: requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, UAT, deployment, and go-live support.
Support month-end/year-end closing cycles and statutory financial reporting.
Deliver user training and create clear, concise documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
Work cross-functionally with Procurement, Projects, HR, and other business areas for integrated ERP delivery.
Assist in data migration, reconciliation, and system cutover activities.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, audit, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
CA, CPA, or MBA qualification (preferred).
5+ years experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant.
Hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle E-Business Suite Financials (R12).
Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and ERP workflows.
Experience using Oracle reporting tools like BI Publisher, OTBI, SmartView, and FRS.
Proven ability to write functional specs, process documents, and training materials.
Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
