Job Description

Our client in Telecoms Industry is looking to hire a Group Project Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage all projects within all business units in the below manner

o Leading the planning and implementation of projects.

o Defining a project’s scope and goals.

o Planning and scheduling project timelines.

o Coordinating project staff.

o Resource planning and allocation.

o Quality assurance.

o Carrying out risk assessment.

o Managing project administration, including all documentation.

o Meeting budgetary objectives.

o Reporting regularly to management.

o Managing client relationships.

o Tracking project performance.

o Project evaluations and results measurement.
• Meeting on a regular basis with project teams of each project to ensure that all objectives, timeframes, etc. are being met and if any issues arise to report it to management
• Bring all projects within the business units to management to set priorities or get priorities set
• according to executives’ requirements
• Provide weekly reporting to management on all projects within each business unit
• Create and ensure all documentation is signed off at each milestone and project completion

Skills and Specifications
• Should have good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to efficiently lead, delegate and motivate subordinates.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation skills and the ability to network with Clients, suppliers, and staff.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project management Software
• Experienced in working in an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems environment
• Experienced in working in an Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, environment

Pre-Requisites
• Clean ITC check
• Clean criminal check
• Signing of the company’s confidentiality agreement
• Own vehicle in good running order and comprehensively insured for business use.
• Certification/Diplomas on the various areas of expertise are required
• 3 to 4 years’ experience as a project manager
