About the Role

Our client in the Telecoms Industry is seeking an experienced Group Project Manager to join their team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for managing all projects within all business units, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all projects within all business units in the manner outlined below

• Leading the planning and implementation of projects.

• Defining a project’s scope and goals.

• Planning and scheduling project timelines.

• Coordinating project staff.

• Resource planning and allocation.

• Quality assurance.

• Carrying out risk assessment.

• Managing project administration, including all documentation.

• Meeting budgetary objectives.

• Reporting regularly to management.

• Managing client relationships.

• Tracking project performance.

• Project evaluations and results measurement

  • Meet on a regular basis with project teams of each project to ensure that all objectives, timeframes, etc. are being met and if any issues arise to report it to management
  • Bring all projects within the business units to management to set priorities or get priorities set according to executives’ requirements
  • Provide weekly reporting to management on all projects within each business unit
  • Create and ensure all documentation is signed off at each milestone and project completion

Requirements

  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to efficiently lead, delegate and motivate subordinates.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation skills and the ability to network with Clients, suppliers, and staff.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project management Software.
  • Experienced in working in an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems environment.
  • Experienced in working in an Occupational Health and Safety Regulations environment.
