About the Role

Our client in the Telecoms Industry is seeking an experienced Group Project Manager to lead and manage all projects within their business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all projects within all business units

• Leading the planning and implementation of projects.

• Defining a project’s scope and goals.

• Planning and scheduling project timelines.

• Coordinating project staff.

• Resource planning and allocation.

• Quality assurance.

• Carrying out risk assessment.

• Managing project administration, including all documentation.

• Meeting budgetary objectives.

• Reporting regularly to management.

• Managing client relationships.

• Tracking project performance.

• Project evaluations and results measurement.

• Meet on a regular basis with project teams of each project to ensure that all objectives, timeframes, etc. are being met and if any issues arise to report it to management

• Bring all projects within the business units to management to set priorities or get priorities set according to executives’ requirements.

• Provide weekly reporting to management on all projects within each business unit.

• Create and ensure all documentation is signed off at each milestone and project completion.

Requirements

• Should have good oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to efficiently lead, delegate and motivate subordinates.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation skills and the ability to network with Clients, suppliers, and staff.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project management Software.

• Experienced in working in an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems environment.

Qualifications

• Clean ITC check

• Clean criminal check

• Signing of the company’s confidentiality agreement

• Own vehicle in good running order and comprehensively insured for business use.

• Certification/Diplomas on the various areas of expertise are required

• 3 to 4 years’ experience as a project manager
