About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our luxury resort in the Maldives. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, locally-inspired cuisine while maintaining exceptional food safety standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in boutique hotels or remote resorts, with a strong focus on leadership and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the full kitchen operation (breakfast, lunch, dinner, events)
- Develop and cost menus for à la carte and event-style dining
- Liaise with suppliers and manage stock levels
- Train and manage a small multicultural team
- Plan staff meals within budget
- Maintain hygiene, SOPs, and cleaning systems
Requirements
- Proven Head Chef experience in boutique hotels, remote resorts, or similar environments
- Strong financial understanding of GP%, costing, and stock control
- Calm under pressure, solution-oriented
- Comfortable living and working in a remote location
- Strong leadership and mentoring capability

Salary will be offered in USD per month (DOE), with accommodation provided as part of the live-in arrangement. International flights and visa costs are employer-covered operational expenses.
