About the Role
Our client, HotelJobs, is seeking an experienced and inspirational Head Guide to lead our safari operations in a remote and pristine wilderness setting. This role is ideal for a passionate conservationist and natural leader who is committed to ethical guiding, team development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the guiding team to maintain high professional standards
- Conduct engaging game drives and interpretive bush experiences
- Ensure full compliance with safety, guiding, and operational regulations
- Actively contribute to conservation initiatives and wildlife monitoring programs
- Create memorable guest experiences through storytelling, education, and personalised engagement
Requirements
- Fully qualified and registered Professional Guide (NQF Level 4 or higher)
- FGASA qualification (Level 2 or higher preferred)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
Qualifications
- Formal qualification in conservation, ecology, or wildlife management
Salary & Benefits
