Leading Financial Services Corporation based in Johannesburg seeks and extraordinary Cloud Expert to fill the role of Head of Cloud within their thriving domain.

This role involves leading a skilful team of professionals in the creation of next generation solutions – launching the company into the future of banking.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years’ experience as a Cloud specialist
• INVESTMENT BANKING experience essential (trading/forex platform experience an advantage)
• 4 years’ experience in a senior management role running a portfolio of 10+ technical experts
• At least 10 years’ full lifecycle design and development covering solution design, application design, development, testing and maintenance, network software, operating systems, multi-tier environments, desktop and workgroup software, middleware, server technology, fault tolerant environments, development tools
• Experience across all application development methodologies, database methodologies and concepts including knowledge of IT infrastructure and Operations.
• Ability to shape, plan and lead a portfolio providing engineering skills, directing system capabilities, ensuring solutions are developed and maintained to standard and managing engineering competencies with focus on cloud and resilience
• Exceptional people skills needed with a high degree of diplomacy

Qualifications:

• Post Graduate Bachelor’s Degree – Information Technology
• Cloud Certified
• Certified Scaled Agile Frameworks
