About the Role

We are seeking a highly accurate and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join our dynamic Logistics team. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management systems, prioritizing, multitasking, and meeting deadlines under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy. A proactive, process-driven, and solution-oriented approach is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately import all stock into systems within required timeframes
Reconcile system stock against physical stock at cold stores
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
Handle stock-related queries promptly
Book sample and marketing pallets as requested
Perform daily stock checks to identify inconsistencies
Process mates data, including weight calculations and pallet linking
Prepare shipment documentation and liaise with freight forwarders
Manage Paltrack registrations for suppliers
Maintain and update system master data

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably within the agriculture or FMCG sector
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications
Solid understanding of stock management systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
