About the Role
Our client is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with various financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile financial transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure compliance with VAT and SARS submissions
- Assist with payroll processing
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist the manager with other financial matters
Requirements
- 3 years of prior experience in a workplace (must have)
- 3-year Accounting degree or higher (E.g. Bcom Accounting) (must have)
- Valid driver’s license (must have)
- Computer literate (must be)
Qualifications
- Articles completed (nice to have)
