About the Role

We are seeking experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineers to join our team at Recruitpro Solutions, working with clients based in South Africa and Netherlands. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing mechanical/electrical systems within production and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and optimise mechanical/electrical systems within production and manufacturing environments
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive measures
  • Support continuous improvement and efficiency projects on-site
  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and project engineering
  • Contribute to capital projects, equipment upgrades, and plant expansions

Requirements

  • BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • 4–10 years of relevant experience in FMCG, Chemical, or Packaging industries
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
  • Strong communication skills; proficiency in English is essential
