Job Summary

Qualifications and Experience:
Technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
Relevant training or certification in packaging or bottling equipment is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in operating and maintaining labelling machines/ equipment in a bottling or FMCG environment.
5 years’ experience in KRONES LABELERS.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing labelling machines (e.g., Krones, Sidel, or similar).
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Machine uptime and efficiency.
Label application accuracy and quality.
Compliance with maintenance schedules.
Reduction in downtime and quick issue resolution.

Responsibilities:


Machine Setup and Calibration:
Prepare labelling machines for production runs, ensuring they are calibrated for accurate placement and alignment.
Conduct pre-production checks to ensure machine readiness.
Oversee labelling processes to ensure labels are applied correctly and meet quality standards.
Adjust machine settings as needed to address alignment or application issues.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Quickly identify and resolve technical issues with labelling equipment.
Perform minor repairs and adjustments to reduce downtime.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect finished products to confirm labels meet company and regulatory standards.
Maintain records of quality checks and report any deviations to the quality team.
Maintenance

Responsibilities:


Conduct routine maintenance of labelling machines according to schedules.
Replace worn-out parts and lubricate equipment to ensure smooth operation.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
Report recurring issues to the maintenance manager for further investigation.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols when operating or maintaining machinery.
Report safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Ensure labelling processes comply with all relevant regulatory and industry standards.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet production targets.
Provide training to operators on basic labeller operation and troubleshooting.
