About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team, contributing to the design and delivery of modern energy infrastructure projects in South Africa. As a key member of our project teams, you will play a crucial role in translating functional requirements into practical engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering design activities across multiple projects
- Translate functional requirements into practical engineering solutions
- Establish technical standards and design guidelines
- Manage engineering planning, timelines, and resource allocation
- Review and approve technical documentation and design outputs
- Provide technical direction to internal teams and external partners
- Monitor project progress from both technical and budget perspectives

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Approximately 15 years experience within electrical engineering environments
- Strong experience in medium- and high-voltage systems
- Background in energy, utilities, industrial plants, or infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated leadership within engineering or project environments
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
