About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to oversee daily operations of our boutique Luxury Safari Lodge in Marloth Park, Mpumalanga, bordering the iconic Kruger National Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and upholding the lodge’s reputation for luxury hospitality and conservation values.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day lodge operations across all departments
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to maintain service excellence
- Ensure guest satisfaction through personalised hosting and problem resolution
- Oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage operations
- Manage budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and lodge policies
- Coordinate with owners and report on lodge performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management (luxury safari lodge preferred)
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Excellent guest relations and communication abilities
- Financial and administrative management experience
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work independently and live off-site (Live-Out position)
