Job Description

Lodge Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Namibia Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and professional Lodge Manager for a luxury safari lodge based in Namibia. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong operational knowledge, a passion for the environment, and a genuine love for hosting guests in a remote luxury setting. Requirements: · Fully literate and fluent in English (Afrikaans and/or other languages advantageous) · Namibian nationality preferred (work permits considered if no suitable candidates) · Grade 12 minimum; qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, or Business Management advantageous · Valid driver’s licence · Minimum 5 years’ experience in lodge management or similar senior operational role · Strong leadership and staff supervision skills, including mentoring and training · Passion for the environment, conservation, and guest hosting · Exceptional guest service and problem-solving abilities · Ability to organise, plan, and coordinate all lodge operations efficiently · Strong business acumen, including budget management, cost control, and reporting · Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills · Experience with POS systems and month-end reporting; Innkeeper system knowledge advantageous · Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours as required · High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining luxury service standards Package: · Salary: N$25,000 – N$30,000 (Negotiable, Basic including overtime) · Live-in accommodation provided · Medical Aid: 50/50 company contribution, including beneficiaries · Pension: 14% company contribution; 2% employee contribution · Death & Disability Benefits, Funeral Cover as per company policy · Leave: 24 days annual leave, 36 sick days (3-year cycle), 5 days compassionate leave · Meals provided while on duty (3 per day) · Work cycle: 24 days on property / 7 days off (with approval) To apply for the Lodge Manager position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements for the position will be contacted.
