About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lodge Operations Manager to join our luxury lodge in KwaZulu Natal, Manyoni Game Reserve. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of lodge operations, including finance, HR, and food and beverage services. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent people skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage lodge finances, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Supervise staff in various departments (HR, F&B, FOH, etc.)
  • Coordinate projects and implement operational improvements
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and maintenance
  • Interact with guests and respond to their needs

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Management or Hospitality (highly beneficial)
  • Minimum 3-5 years senior lodge management experience or Assistant General Manager experience
  • Strong administrative skills, including finance and HR experience
  • Excellent people skills and hosting abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in a relevant field (Management or Hospitality)

Salary & Benefits

  • Gross salary: R (depending on experience)
  • Live-in accommodation and meals provided
  • Starting date: March 2026
