About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance operations within a hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that facilities, guest areas, and back-of-house operations are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring a safe, functional, and exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations across the property
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff and external contractors
  • Perform hands-on maintenance tasks when required (electrical, plumbing, general repairs)
  • Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities
  • Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are implemented and adhered to
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance of equipment, HVAC systems, water systems, and infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Maintain backup systems such as generators, solar systems, and water supply systems
  • Manage maintenance budgets, stock control, and procurement of materials
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and reports
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Work closely with housekeeping, front-of-house, and operations teams

Requirements

Trade qualification (Electrician, Plumber, or similar technical field preferred)

Minimum 46 years maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Previous experience in the hospitality sector (highly advantageous)

Valid drivers license
