About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Market Development/Sales Specialist to join our team, responsible for driving growth and expansion in the agricultural chemicals market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the agrochemical/crop protection industry and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement market development strategies to expand customer base and increase sales revenue
- Conduct training programs for commercial audiences to promote our products and services
- Analyze market trends and insights to inform business decisions and drive growth
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
- Travel within the region, including field visits, to build relationships with customers and farmers
Requirements
- A degree in Agriculture or related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in the agrochemical/crop protection industry in technical, sales, or marketing roles
- Solid knowledge of crop protection sector and farmer needs
- Crop nutrition knowledge is a plus
- Experience developing and delivering training programs for commercial audiences
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into clear actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
