Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of paediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions in children.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including preventive care measures.
- Provide guidance and support to patients` families regarding medical conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency care when needed.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in paediatric medicine and healthcare practices.
Qualifications:
- Holds a Masters of Medicine Paediatrics from a South African medical school that is recognized by the World Directory of Medical Schools.
- HPCSA – Certificate of Good Standing; and Certificate of Registration as a medical practitioner.
- English as a first language.
- 2-3 years experience working as paediatrician.
