About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, as well as providing exceptional support to our HR and Finance departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees across multiple jurisdictions
- Review and audit payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Ensure correct deductions (taxes, benefits, retirement contribution) are applied to employees’ wages
- Prepare and maintain reports related to payroll, including headcount reports, labour cost analyses, and other financial reports
- Manage employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Implement and update payroll-related procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
- Finance qualification
- At least 3-5 years of payroll processing experience, including experience in a senior role
- Strong proficiency in payroll software; VIP Premier and Simple Pay
Qualifications
- Finance qualification (such as BCom or ACCA)
