About the Role

G-Core Capital is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, implementing productivity improvements, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor products processed.
• Document and issue engineering change reports.
• Ensure that all Processes are capable of supporting production.
• Set-up production line standards.
• Optimise plant layout to improve material & product flow in plant.
• Ensure correct start-up procedures are complied with and that the machinery is running at the start of the shift.
• Ensure that all reporting on machinery downtime/production is done.
• Monitor rejects and scrap and ensure scrap and reject targets are met.
• Assist production controller in adhoc projects.
• Programming duties.
• Develop production system to ensure product quality maintained.
• Suggest and implement productivity improvements.
• Assess VA/VE possibilities and implement cost downs.
• Plan and assist production area regarding Productivity improvements.
• Monitor continuous improvement and makes suggestions to maximise production output.
• Ensure safe working conditions and the application of safe working practices.
• Ensure all planned maintenance schedules are adhered to.
• Manage suppliers in regard to new process development, monitoring delivery time, costs and quality.

Requirements

• Completed Mechanical / Industrial or Process Engineering degree / diploma.
• At least two years’ working experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment.
• At least two years’ working experience in Operations Management.
