Role Overview
Planet Fitness is transforming its digital ecosystem across mobile applications, web platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and operational systems supporting 50 clubs nationwide.
We are looking for a Product Owner – Digital Platforms to drive the execution and delivery of digital initiatives across this ecosystem. The role sits at the centre of engineering, CRM, analytics, and operations, translating business initiatives into structured development work and ensuring disciplined Agile sprint delivery.
This role is responsible for maintaining backlog integrity, facilitating sprint execution, and ensuring digital projects move from concept to production efficiently and with measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities

Own and maintain the Azure DevOps product backlog

Translate business requirements into Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks with clear acceptance criteria

Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Monitor sprint progress, identify delivery risks, and remove blockers with engineering teams
-
Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage scope
-
Drive the delivery of digital transformation initiatives across app, web, CRM, and integration platforms
-
Coordinate work across engineering, marketing, CRM, operations, and support teams
-
Support quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management
-
Track delivery metrics including sprint velocity, predictability, and backlog readiness

Provide clear reporting on delivery status and work in progress
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
-
3–5 years’ experience in a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Agile delivery role
-
Strong experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
-
Experience managing product backlogs and sprint delivery using Azure DevOps or similar tools
-
Ability to translate business requirements into structured technical work items
-
Understanding of digital platforms including mobile apps, web platforms, and integrations

Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills

Excellent organisational, documentation, and prioritisation abilities
Advantageous:

Experience working with CRM systems, analytics platforms (GA4 / Firebase), or marketing automation tools

Understanding of APIs, integrations, and event-driven systems
-
Experience working in high-volume digital environments
