Job Description

We have a vacancy for a young ambitious person who has strong management and organisational skills who will work mainly in reception and will also assist the Manager and relieve in the various departments when necessary. He/she needs to be highly presentable and well spoken, as the main focus of the job is taking care of guests. Essential experience in :  Lodge management  Staff management  Guest relations and front desk duties ie reception  Kitchen management  Reservations – knowledge of SEMPER an advantage  Stock control  Housekeeping Position available immediately 100% fluency in English Drivers licence and own car essential A team player with a sense of humour is the sort of person we are looking for Do not apply unless you are not happy to live in a remote area and you have ALL the Essential requirements: – Matric and minimum of 2 years in the bush lodge industry Must be able to work under pressure, be a peoples person. Needs to have a car and a licence. Ability to co-ordinate the kitchen team to produce food items with attention to detail, and high standards of presentation. Good knowledge of creating, implementing, and maintaining standard operation procedures PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE ALL THE EXPERIENCE LISTED ABOVE.
