About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and presentable individual with strong management skills to join our team as a Reception and Manager’s Assistant. The successful candidate will work mainly in reception, taking care of guests, while also assisting the Manager and relieving in various departments when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties (reception) effectively
- Provide exceptional guest relations services
- Assist the Manager with administrative tasks
- Relieve staff in various departments as needed
- Coordinate kitchen team to produce food items with attention to detail and high standards of presentation
Requirements
- Essential experience in:
- Lodge management
- Staff management
- Guest relations and front desk duties (reception)
- Kitchen management
- Reservations (knowledge of SEMPER an advantage)
- Stock control
- Housekeeping
- Matric and minimum of 2 years in the bush lodge industry
- Ability to work under pressure and be a people’s person
- Own car and driver’s licence required
